Pattern With Flowers

I wanted to show you what things (or experiments, as I like to call them) I've been working on for the past few weeks.

Both texture and pattern making are concepts that are very much part of my core and who I am as an artist. Every person is drawn to different things creatively, call at your inner artist, your inner child, call it whatever. I'm trying to get back to that natural flow by experimenting with texture and pattern within my paintings.
I have been going over paintings that were either done or not working the way I had intended and going back into them with texture.
This floral piece is one that I originally disagreed with the direction it was heading toward. So, after letting it sit awhile, I felt it time to experiment some more and essentially ‘play’ with patterns.
